What 7th graders think of scientists (and how they look) before and after they meet in person:

I think of a scientist as very dedicated to his work. He is kind of crazy, talking always quickly. He constantly is getting new ideas. He is always asking questions and can be annoying. He listens to others’ ideas and questions them. - Amy

Looks exactly like one of my lecturers and very much like plenty of them. Plenty more are wierder-looking. I think the written description sounds pretty accurate too but in a good way.

I don’t think Amy had her camera radar up and running this morning!

She’s hardly ever in pictures, I think it’s because she sees the camera and jumps out of sight before the photo is snapped.

But I must say I do LOVE that smile!
